Chicago lure prompts early bookings

If you book it, they will come. And they have!
Already the two-day tour to Chicago, sponsored by Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, has filled nearly 50 per cent of the allotted spaces. According to tour chair Gay Baker, “Response has been most encouraging. We expect to be fully booked well in advance of the Saturday October 25, 2014 deadline for reservations, ” she said.
The excursion to the windy city December 7 and 8 is a special outing sponsored by the Auxiliary as part of their fund raising effort to fulfill a commitment of $100,000.00 pledge to the new hospital emergency wing, now in full operation since late July.
Along with travel arrangements, the trip includes a two-room suite at the newly remodeled Embassy Suites Hotel featuring evening complimentary beverages and free cooked-to-order breakfast. Meanwhile, your time is personal, open to shopping, theater going or just taking in the sights of the city.
Cost of the outing, based on double occupancy, is $150.00 per person and is limited to 46 people. For full details and information contact Gay Baker 517 896-0936, gbaker1967@charter.net or Shelley Redman, 517 331-0665, shelleyredman54@gmail.com.
