Veteran’s Day observances scheduled

Join your local Veterans in Veteran’s Day Observances in St. Johns, MI, on November 11.
American service flags will be raised at Mt. Rest Cemetery at 8 am and lowered at 5 pm.
All Veterans are invited to join the parade which begins behind the Wilson Center, forming at 10:30 am. The parade marches at 11 am around the Clinton County Courthouse, down Clinton Avenue, ending with a ceremony at The St. Johns Veterans Memorial. Vintage Military vehicles will be available to transport Veterans who wish to ride instead of march.
The ceremony will include Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Keith Mino, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4113, Commander, introducing the keynote speaker from American Legion Post #153, Chaplain Donald Zimmerman.
The ceremony will feature The St. Johns Red Wings Marching Band, under the guidance of Mr. Roy Davis, playing patriotic favorites.
