Mischievous Holiday Elves headed for St. Johns

elvesAn anonymous source has said that when the Santa Parade comes to St. Johns on November 28 , two of his elves: Holly and Mistletoe, are planning to stay in downtown St. Johns so they can create mischief in the windows of different businesses.
The elves are clever, and plan to move from one window to the next every half week between November 28 and December 24: an elf will be in one window on Saturday – Tuesday and in another window on Wednesday – Friday for each of the 4 weeks.
Elementary school children are asked to watch for them and to write down on a card where they see each elf on different dates. Kids who find the elves every time they change to a new window will be able to turn in their cards for a drawing for prizes. The prizes are being furnished by a variety of area merchants.
The cards will be available at the Santa Parade and in businesses all around town. They can be turned in at Kurt’s Appliance Center, the Sport Stop or Briggs Public Library up through Tuesday, January 6, to be in the drawing.
