Beth Casey writes: I’m not sure of the exact address, but those two small houses/buildings are on M-21 just west of Scott Road. The one used to be Val’s Pizzeria. They had really good pizza!
The current owner is Raymond Creighron. Previous owners include Mary Spiegel and Willard Searles.
The main building used to be Val’s Pizzeria. I’ve always assumed the smaller buildings were rentals, but I don’t know that for a fact. I thought I’d better get some photos of it before it disappears. It’s not in that great of shape.
[Editor’s note: These buildings were tourist cabins attached to a Shell gas station. In 1950 it was Randall and Walker Gas Station.]
