Last Sunday the Clinton County Sheriff Department responded to a crash on M-21 near Lowell Rd.

This Semi was hauling grain when it came upon a vehicle stopped in the road with no lights on. The semi driver swerved to miss the vehicle and over-turned.

Thankfully the semi driver walked away with minor injuries. The driver of the car in the road was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Under The Influence of Drugs (OUID).

Thanks to the quick reactions of this truck driver a life ending crash was avoided.
Let’s remember that big trucks aren’t as agile as our little cars and give them some extra room.
