Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool

Who wouldn’t want to drive up to the Park and see this scene today?
This was the summer of 1973 and Pam Darling of Ovid was the pool manager in her fourth year at the pool. Lifeguards had to obtain a Water Safety Instruction certificate from the Red Cross and get YMCA certification.
Serving as assistant manager was Gail Cotter of Pewamo. Lifeguards were Gary VanVelsor, Linda VanVelsor, Amy Wellman, Carole Yurek, and substituting was Kim Hopko.
