This photo was taken January 6, 1951 and could have very well been taken of Don Gilson congratulating his replacement as the store manager. Don hired into Federal-Mogul as the Personnel Manager that same year and it freed up Basil Deibert from managing both the Shipping and Personnel departments so he could do a full time job in shipping.
It’s interesting to note that Gilson later hired John Thrush at Federal-Mogul.
