This was the checkout counter at A&P in the 1950s. Looking on is Don Gilson, store manager. The two ladies in this photo are unidentified.
Don would soon be heading off to Federal-Mogul to become their personnel manager. Don is the one that hired me into Federal-Mogul in 1963.
