At-large member
Per its operating agreement the Clinton Are Fire & Rescue (CAFR) is seeking candidates to apply for its at-large member on its Board of Directors.
Candidates must be a resident of either Victor or Greenbush Townships in Clinton County. The at-large member will serve a term of at least one year, with the option of being reappointed for additional terms of one year.
The Board of Directors of Clinton Area Fire & Rescue are responsible for the operations of CAFR. CAFR provides emergency response services, including fire protection, fire prevention, and other emergency response services as determined by the CAFR Board (except law enforcement activity) to persons and property within Greenbush and Victor Township as Participating Municipalities, and such other entities as are eligible to receive such services by virtue of contracts with CAFR and to entities which become Participating Municipalities.
Interested parties should submit a letter of interest stating why they want to serve on the Board of Directors of CAFR. Letters should be sent to CAFR, 2761 N. US Hwy 127, St Johns, MI 48879. Letters of interest need to be received by the 5:00pm on January 31, 2015.
The at-large member will be voted on by the CAFR Board of Directors at its monthly meeting on February 10, 2015. Interested candidates who have submitted letters are encouraged to attend the meeting of the CAFR Board on February 10th. The meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at the CAFR offices at 2761 N. US Hwy 131, St Johns MI 48879.
