Clinton County Economic Alliance
The Clinton County Economic Alliance (CCEA) Executive Committee has named Dru L. Mitchell as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mitchell has been serving as interim executive director since February, 2014.
CCEA is organized to serve as the first point of contact and facilitator in the areas of economic development initiatives and regional collaboration for Clinton County communities, companies, and residents. Mitchell is in charge of developing and promoting economic opportunities, strengthening Clinton County’s voice in targeted markets, collaborating with regional and State of Michigan partners to achieve a more regional and global reach, and building and maintaining the CCEA investor base.
CCEA Chairman Rick Galardi, supervisor of DeWitt Township states, “Dru’s career in the tri-county area includes a track record of success in a variety of industries and job responsibilities. Her experience in economic development will continue to strengthen our ability to meet the needs of Clinton County development efforts.”
Mitchell has been active in business, economic, and fund development activities in the mid-Michigan area. She serves as secretary of the Clinton County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, co-chairman of the St. Johns Local College Area Network, board member of the Clinton Task Force on Employment, a member of the Advisory Committees of the Passport to Success-Coalition for College & Career Readiness and YMCA Storer Camps, chairman of the 2016 St. Johns Rotary Club Helping Hands Dinner, and is immediate past president of the Capital Area Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

CCEA is non-partisan, apolitical and is funded entirely by its members who include local businesses and governments and educational institutions. CCEA is organized to serve as the first point of contact and facilitator in the areas of economic development initiatives and regional collaboration for Clinton County communities, companies, and residents.
