Zombie Fun Run – October 17
The City of St. Johns Recreation Department and the Citizens Committee for a Spray Park are sponsoring a Zombie Fun Run to raise money for the St. Johns Community Spray Park. The event will take place Friday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the Main City Park.
Anyone can register for the run at www.runsignup.com/Race/MI/StJohns/RUNFORYOURLIFE.
In addition to the run any Clinton County High School and Middle School students can register to be a member of the zombie horde at https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Stjohns/zombiehorde.
Cost is $10 for runners and zombies if signing up online before October 13 at 11:59 p.m. Registration cost is $15 after the 13th thru race day. After October 13th registration forms can be picked up at the City Offices or online at www.cityofsaintjohnsmi.com.
Race day check in and registration begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Main Pavilion at the City Park. Kids 10 and under run free with a paid adult (no online registration needed, but parent/guardian must sign a waiver on race day for all children). Anyone can run the race, but only high school and middle school students can be zombies.
This 1.5 mile road/trail race will take runners through post-apocalyptic St. Johns City Park and the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Test your will against hordes of zombies trying to steal the “life” flags from your belt as you navigate the scenic course. Runners are welcome to dress up for the run but please do not come as a zombie.
