Megan Gust

It was my pleasure to meet Megan Gust, a student exchange student host.
Megan hosted a student from France in the summer of 2014. The student from France is named Josepha.
Megan was in contact with Josepha before she came to our country. Megan’s dad was in contact via e-mail with Josepha’s father, and today they are still in touch.
I asked what were her favorite things that she and Josepha had done. Megan said that her family took Josepha to a summer camp for Military in Alpena for one week. They enjoyed swimming, rafting, repelling which Josepha had never done. They also visited Sugarloaf Mountain. In other words these girls just had a blast!
Asking Megan what she took from this hosting and she replied “the relationship Josepha and I have.” They also are keeping their friendship going via e-mail.
It is so great to hear of stories like this, and there still is a lot of good in all of us. Thank you, Megan, for sharing.
