Joseph Yock died Monday, May 25, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born September 15, 1921 in Tasov, Czechoslovakia the son of Martin and Anna (Chapek) Yock. Joe was an Army veteran of WWII, worked as a farmer most of his life and was a member of Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1985. Surviving is a daughter, Ann (Marshall) Bush of Roanoke, VA; one son, Joseph Jr. (Debi) Yock of St. Johns; grandchildren, Joseph III (Kelly) Yock, Christina Yock and fiancée’ Jeremy Townsend; great grandchildren, James and Gabriel.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Grace Hospice 2205 Jolly Rd. #C Okemos, MI 48864. The family was assisted with these arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
