LaVern Robert “Bob” Counseller Jr., 52, of Kalkaska, formerly of St. Johns, landscaper, died in April.
Memorial gathering 10:30 a.m. Saturday at South Bingham Cemetery, St. Johns.
Lewis E. VanDeusen
Lewis E. VanDeusen, born July 20, 1912 in Fairfield Twp., Elsie, MI, the son of Andrew and Minnie (Webb) VanDeusen passed away at Ovid Healthcare on August 1, 2015 at the age of 103. He worked for Douglas Trucking for 13 years and Cal’s Merchandise of Ovid for 20 years. His marriage to Dorothy F. Good on May 2, 1936 ended with her death July 3, 1986.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda (John) Bona of Webster, N.Y. and Patricia (Bert) Leland of Owosso, four sons, Jack (Georgene) of Kentwood, Calvin (Doris) of Bannister, Jerry and friend Mary Hehrer of Elsie, and Bill (Clara) of Fowler. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren and special friend Dorothy J. Phillips of Owosso. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by three sons, Richard, Douglas and Larry VanDeusen, grandsons, Lynn VanDeusen and infant David VanDeusen , two brothers, Glen and Ernest VanDeusen and two sisters, Hattie VanDeusen and Shirley Tomlinson.
There will be a private Graveside service at Maple Grove Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2015 with Pastor Scott Seelhoff officiating.
The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.

Marian Emma (Fox) Armbrustmacher Guenther Goodrich age 97, of St. Johns, MI passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns, MI on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams officiating.
Marian was born in Westphalia, Michigan on October 22, 1917, the daughter of Joseph J. and Rose (Bengel) Fox. Marian enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, going to the casino and playing cards. She loved to travel and she wintered in Florida for several years.
She is survived by her children; Paul R. and Bonnie Armbrustmacher, Carl A. and Judy Armbrustmacher, Carol Frechen, Mark J. and Diane Armbrustmacher, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, daughter in law Irene Armbrustmacher, step sons; Sandy Goodrich, Eddie Goodrich, and Don Goodrich. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Herb A. Armbrustmacher, Guile Guenther, and Oren Goodrich, son Roy Armbrustmacher, son in law Bob Frechen, grandson Brett Armbrustmacher, 2 sisters Betty Cummins and Donna Downing and 1 brother Robert Fox.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice for Clinton County. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns, Michigan.
Young Ja Cressman
Young Ja Cressman, 76, of St. Johns, retired Sohn Laundry employee, died July 3, 2015. Services will be held at a later date.
