Maralyn's Pet Corner

Sam Spaniel
I use to live with some other dogs and they were fine to have around but I didn’t really play or anything with them. We didn’t have any cats around but now at my foster home, I am fine with the cats, too. Toys haven’t really interested me but I will tell you what I do really like:
Walking with you on a leash.
Riding with you in the car.
Meeting new people.
Meeting new people who want to pet me!
Meeting new people who want to give me attention!!
I even like to met some of the smaller humans.
My previous owner went through some difficult times, so I hadn’t been to a dog doctor for quite a while. When I spent some time there, they told me that my eyes have cataracts starting and that my teeth were really dirty – they had to remove lots of them, but now I feel a lot better and my breath smells better, too!
You do need to know that I do have some allergies to grains so I need food and treats that are grain-free. And even though you might think I am stubborn, my foster person says that I may be a little deaf. Finally, you won’t need to buy a crate for me because I am house trained and am very good if I am loose in the house.
