Resident Truth to perform at Concert for a Cause on August 1
On Saturday, August 1 from 1:00-3:30pm at the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell, three music groups will perform Christian concerts to help raise funds for a new church boiler.
God is eternal, but apparently 50-year-old boilers are not. Community Christian Church, located at 400 E. State Street in St. Johns, is raising funds to replace its worn-out boiler with a new 95% efficiency boiler at the cost of $7,850.

The Community Christian Church praise team will open up the concert for a cause with music at 1:00 pm, followed by the Ladiski Brothers at 1:45 pm.

At 2:45pm the contemporary Christian music band “Resident Truth” will take the stage to finish out the afternoon’s concerts.
Free-will donations will be accepted, and pre-packaged refreshments will be available for purchase.
A patriotic quilt in a red, white, and blue color scheme made by Korine Kristofferson will be raffled. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. You can get tickets by calling Community Christian Church at 989-224-6421.
Contributions to the boiler fund can also be given via the church’s GoFundMe page by going to: www.gofundme.com/zm2aaw4.
