Myers, Marcella Edinger, Sue Pederson, Rita A. George<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Bernita Mary Fedewa<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/fedewa_bernita.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Bernita Mary Fedewa, of Pewamo, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She is with her Lord. Bernita was born on a farm southeast of Pewamo in Clinton County on July 20, 1917. Daughter of Oscar M. and Dorthea \u201cDora\u201d (Wohlshied) Cook and oldest of thirteen children. Bernita graduated from Pewamo High School in 1935, Clinton County Normal School of St. Johns in 1936 and Central Michigan University. She taught at the local rural schools for four years and later at St. John the Baptist school in Hubbardston from 1956 to 1963 and at Most Holy Trinity school in Fowler from 1963 to 1982. In retirement she taught piano lessons in her home for more than 25 years. In her spare time, Bernita enjoyed playing piano, bird watching, gardening and spiritual reading. She was a life member of St. Joseph Parish in Pewamo, choir member, director, and a member of the Altar Society. Bernita also belonged to the Mid-Michigan Audubon Society, serving as its president for a number of years.<br \/>\nBernita is survived by her sons, John and Gerard, daughter-in-law, Liduina and grandson Orry, all of Pewamo. Her sisters, Dorothy Golata of Lansing, Ella Thelen of Williamston, Marcia Cook of Ionia, and Jenny (Robert) Weber of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her brothers, James (Jean) Cook of Lansing, Donald (Barbara) Cook of Lansing, Roy (Dolores) Cook of Fenwick, and Leon (Jeanne) Cook of Lansing. Bernita was also the proud aunt of forty nine nieces and nephews. Bernita married Walter J. Fedewa, a Pewamo area farmer, on October 22, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1988.<br \/>\nBernita was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Bernita Schrauben Cook, son, Donald J. Fedewa, daughter-in-law, Lesley Daman Fedewa, Lesley\u2019s parents, Fred and the late Marguerite Daman, David Cook, her brother, sisters, Angela Coonrod, Isabelle Wilson, and Cay De Young, brothers-in-law, Joseph Coonrod, Donald Wilson, Jake De Young, Alvin Thelen, and John Golata.<br \/>\nA Funeral Mass for Bernita will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, Friday, June 18, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Charlon Mason officiating, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Myers<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/myers_linda.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Linda T. Myers, 64, of Fowler, passed away on June 13, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Myers was born November 10, 1945, in St. Johns, Michigan, the daughter of Roman and Helen (Brandt) Armbrustmacher.<br \/>\nLinda was a loving wife to her husband, Mark, of 45 years. They were married on August 7, 1965, in Fowler, where they raised six sons. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom and housewife while raising her children. Linda later worked as a cook at Fowler Public Schools and then with the Department of Natural Resources. After retirement she enjoyed family time at their cottage, gardening, and bird watching. She was a devout parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and an avid member of the TOPS club in Fowler.<br \/>\nLinda is survived by her husband; sons, Anthony of Chicago, IL; Curt (Michelle) of Potterville; Jamey (Cindi) of Chesapeake, VA; Jonathan (Lisa) of Shepherd; Matthew (Staci) of Westphalia; and Brad (Cynthia) of Fowler; 13 grandchildren, Ashley, Rachel, Justin, Donovan, Paige, Andrea, Jordan, Halie, Tessa, Candis, Ryan, Braxton and Easton Myers. Linda is also survived by her brothers, Robert and Raymond (Janet) Armbrustmacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Alma Armbrustmacher.<br \/>\nMemorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. Burial to follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. Born December 12, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Henry) Brown. She was a lifelong member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University specializing in Education. She spent thirty three years in the educational field as a teacher and principal retiring in 1976. She was a former member of the Delta Kappa Society, Michigan Education Association, and the Michigan Education Association of Retired School Personnel.<br \/>\nShe was preceded in death by her husband James (Jim), her son, Peter, sisters Bernice McKenna and Vivian Brown, brother Walter Brown, brothers in-law Martin Edinger and Lawrence Edinger, and sisters in-law Mary Karber, Ruth Edinger, and Laurine Edinger.<br \/>\nSurvivors include her three daughters, Marcia (Peter) Schmitz, Ellen (Lloyd) Watson, and Ann (Bruce) Menerey; eight grandchildren, Sue (Mark) Shulick, Michael (Diana) Schmitz, Todd (Kim) Falor, Daniel (Kristie) Falor, David (Heather) Falor, Melissa Menerey, Will (Jen) Watson, and Barney (Amy) Watson; fourteen great-grandchildren, Matthew Shulick, Vivian Shulick, Tyler Schmitz, Megan Schmitz, Sarah Schmitz, Kyle Wigglesworth, Derek Falor, Kailey Falor, Carson Falor, Cooper Falor, Raegan Falor, Lillian Watson, Macy Watson, and Colin Watson.<br \/>\nThe Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Goerge Chapel of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a> 11112 W. Ionia St., Fowler, MI on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding and internment at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2010 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Rosaries will be prayed at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Educational Trust Fund.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Sue Pederson<\/strong><br \/>\nSue Pederson, age 79, passed away on June 10, 2010 in Lansing, Michigan. Sue was born May 14, 1931 in Bengal Twp., Michigan the daughter of Mark and Eugenia (Mehney) Eaton, Sr.<br \/>\nThere will be services at a later time. Arrangements by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Rita A. George<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/george_rita.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Rita A. George died Jun 10, 2010, at the age of 93. Born in Pewamo, Michigan, on April 10, 1917, she was the daughter of Matilda (Schafer) and Jacob Cook. She lived in the Pewamo area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Rita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society in Pewamo. She married Joseph A. George, May 14, 1940, and they were married 63 years before he preceded her in death in 2003.<br \/>\nSurviving her are three sons, Luke George of St. Johns, Bruce (Diane) George of Pewamo, and Glen (Nadine) George of Wacousta, one daughter, Carol (Bernard) Simon of Westphalia, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three sisters, Rosaline Schanski, Katherine (Bill) Bushong, Geraldine (Don) Schafer, and two sister-in-laws, Joan Cook and Joan Smith. In addition to her parents and husband, Rita was preceded in death by her infant son, Mark, two sisters, Bernita Koenigsknecht and Elda George, one brother, Norman Cook, and three brothers-in-law, Leonard Koenigsknecht, Leo George, and Joseph Schanski.<br \/>\nFuneral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Charlon Mason officiating. The family will receive friends, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday with rosaries being prayed, Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m., and a Vigil Service, Sunday at 8 p.m., at the Goerge Chapel of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>, 11112 W.
