Oakland Street in St. Johns, on Friday, July 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. The St. Johns Police Department will be on site to assist with secure disposal.<br \/>\nWhile medications play an important role in treatment of medical conditions and diseases, all drugs should be handled with care. Unused medications must be properly disposed of to avoid harm to the environment as well as children, pets and wildlife.<br \/>\nThe best way to dispose of unused medications is to participate in a community medication disposal program.
