The public is invited to join Community Christian Church, 400 E. State Street \u2013 M-21 \u2013 St. Johns, on Sunday, August 29, 2010, beginning at 5:30 p.m. for Fun In the Son.
\nThe event is free and includes a contemporary Christian concert by the church\u2019s praise band and guest musicians. The event is made extra fun by gift give-aways including an iPod. Drawings for the iPod and gift baskets will take place at the end of the concert, and you must be present to win. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a free pulled-pork potluck supper.
\nCommunity Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian church helping people get to know Jesus Christ through dynamic worship, relevant Bible teaching, and authentic discipleship. The church is family-friendly, with Sunday morning Bible studies for children, youth and adults beginning at 9:30 a.m. and worship starting at 10:30 a.m. Its midweek small groups include Bible studies and activities for children, youth, college aged and adults beginning at 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday.
