Operators were responsible for setting up the line so the sanded steel strip could be uncoiled and fed through the line.<br \/>\nWhen it came out the finished end the strip had acquired a specified thickness of bonded lining.<br \/>\nThey experimented on the sintering lines years ago with video cameras used for spotting problems.
