Rudy, Joan Ann Smalldon<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Frances Julia Bailey<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/bailey_frances.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Frances Julia Bailey, age 88, passed away August 30, 2010. Frances was born in Ionia, Michigan on June 3, 1922. Frances enjoyed needlepoint and spending time with her friends and family. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Vivia Bailey, her sister Ruth Bailey.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her twin brother Frank Bailey of St. Johns, her sister Olga (Charles) Dunn, a niece Viva Dunn, nephews; James Dunn, Ralph (Jennifer) Bailey.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home in Lansing, MI. For those desiring, memorial contributions<br \/>\nmay be made to Community Mental Health of St. Johns.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Anne Marie Beauchamp<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/beauchamp_anne.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Anne Marie Beauchamp, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Anne was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 15, 1941, the daughter of Francis and Mary (McGrath) Maguire. Anne and Norman met as young adults through a church youth group. They joined in a covenant of marriage on May 20, 1961 at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Los Angeles, California. In 1971, they moved to St. Johns, Michigan and raised four children. Anne loved God, her family, and her community and was devoted to helping those around her. Anne was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church were she was a Eucharistic Minister for the terminally ill. She also served her community in many facets including, the St. Johns Lioness Club, and the Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts of America. Anne spent most of her career as a Mental Health Therapist for Community Mental Health dedicated to those with severe and persistent mental illness<br \/>\nShe is survived by her husband Norman, and her children: Dr. William Beauchamp of Clarksville, TN, Mary (Tim) Beauchamp of St. Johns, MI, Dr. Norman (Kristina) Beauchamp, of Bellevue, WA, and Cheryl (Robert) Wieber of Lapeer, MI; grandchildren, Tricia (Aaron) Gravett, Christopher (Anna) Beauchamp, Jessica Beauchamp, Sydney Beauchamp, MacKenzie Beauchamp, Julie Lantagne, Craig Lantagne, Jeffrey Theodorski, Jake Beauchamp, Luke Beauchamp, Zachary Wieber, and Grace Wieber; great grandchildren, Eden Gravett, Wyatt Gravett, Collin Gravett, Gus Beauchamp, and Jayce Martinez; her brother, Francis (Helen) Maguire of Arizona; and her sister, Diane (Bill) Horton of Massachusetts. She is also survived by special long-time friends: Larry and Elaine Krueger, Mary Bowerson, Laurie Forstat, Rita MacDonald-Bigelow, Cori Smith and many Maguire and Beauchamp family members. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Mary Maguire; father and mother-in-law, William and Agnes Beauchamp; and her dog, Angel.<br \/>\nThe family would like to thank the many loving and talented hands at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Great Lakes Cancer Institute, McLaren Visiting Nurses, and Hospice, Cardiology Consultants of East Michigan, and the University of Washington, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Dad would like to extend special thanks to the work of Dr. Nagpal and Father Eoin, as well as the tireless efforts of Cheryl, Jay, and Craig.<br \/>\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church St. Johns, MI on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 5 &#8211; 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m., at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smith Family Funeral Homes<\/a> St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, MI. Memorials may be made to Norm and Anne Beauchamp Educational Scholarship Fund at the University of Washington.   The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, Michigan.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Dakota D. Rudy<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/rudy_dakota.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Dakota Douglas Rudy, age 7, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2010. He was born in St. Johns, on February 12, 2003, the son of Jeremy and Shannon (Diehl) Rudy. Dakota would have been attending Fulton Elementary School as a second grader this Fall.<br \/>\nAlong with his parents, Dakota is survived by his sister, Jennifer, and brother, Tristan, grandparents, David and Georgia Diehl, Mark and Ellen Rudy, great grandparents, Alberta Diehl, Joan Walker, Nancy Rudy, Marlene Thompson, Walter Thompson and Jane Jolly, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Cardy and grandmother, Marie Thompson.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010, at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Home<\/a> of St. Johns, with Pastor Jerry Kissling officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Contributions may be made in Dakota\u2019s memory to the Gift of Life. Rev. Jeff Heimsoth will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.<br \/>\nJoan was born in Norway, Michigan on March 22, 1942, the daughter of Andrew J. Edidon and Anna (Strauss) Ebidon and lived in St. Johns most of her life. Joan married Jack Smalldon in St. Johns on April 22, 1962.<br \/>\nJoan had worked at K-Mart and volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul both of St. Johns. She was a member of TOPS 1634. Joan was a caring and gentle soul who had the spirit of an angel. She had a smile for everyone who crossed her path. Her hobbies included interior decorating, gardening and her 2 grandchildren. Family was very important to her and each of us will miss her. Goodbye dear wife, mother, grandma and sister.<br \/>\nSurviving are her husband Jack Smalldon of St. Johns, son David Smalldon of St. Johns, daughter Tammy (Garry, Jr.) Gooldy of Hanover, two grandchildren; Garry III and Lily Ann Gooldy, five sisters; Jean Ferrari of Mt. Juliet, TN, Joyce Erdelyan of Mt. Juliet, TN, Yvonne Settle of Australia, Ellen and Burry Venstra of Niagra, WI and Judy and Jerry Ciezadlo of Des Plaines, IL, twin brother Jerry Ebidon of Marinette, WI, and three sisters-in-law; Marilyn Ebidon of Aurora, WI, Mitzi Ebidon of Niagra, WI and Irene Ebidon of Kingsford, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, infant brother, four brothers; Kenneth, Robert, James and Don Ebidon and two sisters; Beverly Brown and Marion Haynes.<br \/>\nMemorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Home Hospice 1215 E.
