\nAll of Woldumar is gearing up for our annual fall festival, the\u00a0 American Heritage Festival! This event is dedicated to the\u00a0 preservation and remembrance of Michigan\u2019s rich cultural heritage. The\u00a0 Moon Family Cabin will be open all weekend, giving visitors a glimpse\u00a0 of life in the 1860s. In addition, visitors will be able to watch \u00a0 blacksmith demonstrators working at their forge, explore an authentic\u00a0 Civil War camp, help press apple cider and try their hand at sawing\u00a0 wood! Horse-drawn wagon rides will be available along with pontoon\u00a0 boat tours of our historical Grand River.
\nThe festival will also\u00a0 include a cheese making demonstration, live animals, a working sawmill\u00a0 and a steam engine display! Be sure to stop by and visit our Farmer\u2019s \u00a0 Market featuring a variety of local artisans and craftsmen, as well\u00a0 as, Woldumar\u2019s delicious Prairie Honey! Be sure to stop by with the\u00a0 whole family for a day of fun while exploring the American Heritage\u00a0 Festival!
\nThis year, in addition to entertainment throughout the day, Woldumar\u00a0 will be hosting an American Heritage Concert sponsored by WLNZ Radio\u00a0 of Lansing. The concert will start at 6:00 pm on Saturday of the\u00a0 festival. The line-up has yet to be announced but be sure to check out\u00a0 our website for updates closer to September.
