{"id":19512,"date":"2010-11-24T20:56:27","date_gmt":"2010-11-25T00:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=19512"},"modified":"2010-11-24T20:56:27","modified_gmt":"2010-11-25T00:56:27","slug":"parade-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/parade-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Santa Parade of Lights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Join us in Historic Downtown St. Johns on Friday December 3<!--more-->, 2010 to watch the Annual Santa Parade of Lights.\u00a0 Each entry is beautifully decorated with colorful holiday lights and also features Santa Claus.\u00a0 After the Parade, enjoy the official lighting of the annual St. Johns Christmas Tree and the presentation of the Key to the City to Santa Claus by St. Johns Mayor Dana Beaman.\u00a0 This magical key opens every door in St. Johns, and enables Santa Claus to visit every boy and girl on Christmas Eve.<br \/>\nFamilies, neighbors, co-workers, local school groups, marching bands, civic organizations, church groups, dance troupes, musical groups and businesses are all welcome to participate in the parade and add to the\u00a0pageantry of the\u00a0St. Johns Tree Lighting Ceremony. \u00a0This event helps to bring our community together to celebrate the holidays.<br \/>\nThe parade begins at the Clinton County Courthouse on State Street and travels north down Clinton Avenue to the Train Depot Lawn at 107 E.
