From the White House to the Statehouse, the buzzwords are \u201cstimulus\u201d and \u201cincentive\u201d and Clinton County Arts Council has picked up the theme for shoppers at the Art Gallery.
\nBeginning December 6 those making purchases at the Gallery will have their name eligible for entry in a drawing for a top gift of a $100.00 gift certificate.\u00a0 Participation in the drawing is reliant upon the amount of purchase beginning with one entry for every $10.00 spent.\u00a0
\nMike Meuhlenbeck, council director, explained the process by example.\u00a0 \u201cIf a customer spends $20.00,\u201d he said, \u201cthat customer would be eligible for two entries.\u00a0 Then, an additional entry would be awarded for every other $10.00 spent.\u201d
\nAccording to Meuhlenbeck, the shopping period for this event will extend from Dec. 6 until the end of business Dec. 21 when the drawing will occur.\u00a0 Along with the first prize gift certificate, three other prizes will be awarded.
