Brock<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>David John Horvath<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nDavid John Horvath, 56, died December 20, 2010, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Lansing, on November 26, 1954, the son of Francis and Ardena (Seyka) Horvath.<br \/>\nDavid is survived by his wife, Pam, whom he married May 20, 1989. Also surviving are their children, Billy Hayes of Lansing, Bradley Hayes of East Lansing, Bethany Horvath of St. Johns, granddaughter-to\u2013be, Malina, brother, Timothy (Mary) Horvath, sister, Patricia (John) Buker, nieces and nephews and his best buddy Homer. He was preceded in death by his parents.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Home<\/a> in St. Johns. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Brock<\/strong><br \/>\nRobert A. Brock \u201cPapa\u201d, 82 of Ovid died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his home.  Bob was born on November 6, 1928 in St. Johns the son of Cleo &#038; Alberta (VanAmberg) Brock.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marines.  He worked at Federal Mogul, was a manager of Raleigh House Apartments in East Lansing, sold cars for Bee\u2019s Chevrolet and was a manager for Meijer Thrifty Acres for 35 years.<br \/>\nHe is survived by son Eric (Lynette) Brock of Ovid, daughter Cathy Brock of Warren, MI, grandchildren Nicholas Brock of Owosso and Hunter Brock of Ovid and great grandson Cooper Brock of Owosso;a sister Barbara (Walter) Knaus of St. Johns and many loving dogs and cats. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lois Hall and brothers, Donald \u201cBud\u201d Brock and Richard Brock.<br \/>\nMemorial services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family for the grandchildren.
