{"id":20406,"date":"2011-01-13T21:59:08","date_gmt":"2011-01-14T01:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=20406"},"modified":"2011-01-13T21:59:08","modified_gmt":"2011-01-14T01:59:08","slug":"snow-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/snow-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Chili, hot cocoa contests highlight 3rd Annual Snow Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11jan\/snowdayth.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/>Saturday, January 29<!--more--><br \/>\nFourteen and counting, a number greater than last year\u2019s. \u00a0 That\u2019s a combination of participants already signed up to compete in the chili cook off and hot cocoa contest, two of the events highlighting the agenda for Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary\u2019s third annual \u201cSnow Day at the Emerald.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cThis is exciting,\u201d commented Kathie Clock, co-chair of the event, a position held since its launch three years ago.\u00a0 \u201cAlready we have eleven chili contestants and three contenders with hot cocoa recipes.\u00a0 Both events promise to be heated challenges.\u201d\u00a0 No pun intended.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11jan\/snowday.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Shirley Hacker, Ann Hufnagel, Cindy Knight and Mary Ann Ellickson are determined that frosty ground won\u2019t interfere with promoting Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary upcoming \u201cSnow Day at the Emerald\u201d Saturday, January 29<\/em><br \/>\nBut the list of activities doesn\u2019t end with chili and cocoa.
