They are:<br \/>\n<strong>Farmers Market<\/strong>:\u00a0Saturday mornings from <strong>June 18 through October 29<\/strong>, 2011 on Maple Street, west of the Clinton County courthouse.  Come celebrate everything \u201cfresh\u201d with home-grown, home-baked and home-made goods from local gardens, farms and home kitchens along with artisans and crafters.<br \/>\n<strong>St. Johns Summerfest<\/strong>:\u00a0The first barbecue of summer.  Saturday, <strong>June 25th<\/strong> at the St. Johns Train Depot Pavilion.  Live music in the Downtown on Tap beverage tent with Vegas style Casino Gaming from 7:00 p.m. to 12 midnight!<br \/>\n<strong>Mint City USA Car Show<\/strong>:\u00a0Opening our celebration of everything Mint green during the 27th annual Mint Festival is the Mint City USA classic car show on Friday <strong>August 12<\/strong> from 7:00-9:00 pm in Downtown St. Johns.  Trophies will be awarded along with a $100 cash prize to the 1st place winner.  While viewing these COOL cars, spectators can listen to some HOT\u201d music from The Mike Shafley Band\u00a0and enjoy a COLD beer or Mint Mojitos in the Downtown on Tap beverage tent with Casino Gaming.<br \/>\n<strong>Mint Festival Down at the Depot<\/strong>:\u00a0The celebration of more than 100 years of Mint farming continues \u201cafter hours\u201d in Downtown St. Johns at the Train Depot Pavilion on <strong>Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13<\/strong> from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.  Our Downtown on Tap beverage tent will feature Mint Mojitos and ice cold beer along the live music of \u00a0\u00a0The Mike Shafley Band\u00a0on Friday and The Squids\u00a0on Saturday.  Vegas style Casino Gaming tables will be on hand for those that wish to try their luck, and food will be available for purchase as well.<br \/>\n<strong>Vietnam Legacy Ride<\/strong>: \u00a0St. Johns is hosting the landing of the Vietnam Legacy Ride on <strong>Saturday, August 6, 2011<\/strong>.  This motorcycle ride celebrating Vietnam Veterans departs Lansing in the morning and travels north through many communities before arriving in St. Johns around noon.  An Honor Guard Tribute will take place at the Veterans Memorial in Downtown St. Johns, with luncheon served immediately afterwards by the \u201cMilitary Moms\u201d organization \u00a0in the Train Depot Pavilion.  Come have lunch with our Veterans and enjoy music and fellowship until 3:00 pm.<br \/>\n<strong>Historic U.S. 27 Motor Tour<\/strong>:  Downtown St. Johns will take a step back in time on <strong>Thursday, August 25th<\/strong> at 8:30 a.m. as the Historic U.S. 27 Motor Tour stops in St. Johns.  Hundreds of classic cars are expected to participate in the six day, eleven city motor tour along historic old U.S. 27.  The tour meets for breakfast in St. Johns on Thursday, August 25th and those classic cars will be on exhibit until 11:00 a.m.<br \/>\n<strong>Santa Parade of Lights<\/strong>:\u00a0Downtown St. Johns hosts this annual celebration on Friday, <strong>December 2nd<\/strong> to ringing in the holiday season.
