Boots, Helen M. Reichert, Rebecca Ann Norton<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>James E. Boots<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/boots_james.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>James E. Boots died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the age of 82. He was born July 30, 1928 in Gratiot County, Michigan the son of Charles and Lulu Belle (Henry) Boots. James graduated from Fulton High School with the Class of 1946; he was a farmer and retired from the Clinton County Road Commission after 30 years of service, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. On September 16, 1950 he married Wanda Dickinson in Ithaca, and she survives him.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are two sons, David (Sandra) of St. Johns, and Steven (Carol) of Charlotte; four daughters, Debra (Harry) Lance of Remus, Janet (Kent) Mullet of St. Louis, Gena (Russell) Swanson of Lansing and Jamie Platte of St. Johns; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; one sister Margaret Turner of St. Johns. James was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Diane Vargas, sister Helen Eldridge, and brother Charles Henry Boots Jr.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns with Pastor Kathy Leydorf officiating. Interment will follow at Union Home Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 2:00 to 8:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church 2307 West Maple Rapids Rd. St. Johns, MI 48879.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Helen M. Reichert<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/reichert_helen.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Helen M. Reichert, age 97, died on February 8, 2011.She was born in Ovid on April 4,1913, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Eiserman) Anderson and lived most of her life in Ovid. She retired from Mid-West Abrasive in 1978, was a member of United Church of Ovid and Owosso Eagles Club #851 since 1952. Helen married Andrew Reichert in Angola, IN on May 6, 1955 and he preceded her in death in December 1984.<br \/>\nSurviving her is granddaughter, Helen Russek, grandson, David Jacobbauski, great grandson, David Russek and great granddaughter, Juliette Russek, and sister, Violet Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, daughter, Alice Rodgers and three sisters, Alice Anderson, Opal Terryberry and Doris Hyde.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the Houghton Chapel of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>, burial at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor David Hudgens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Helen to the Ovid Historical Society.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Ann Norton<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/norton_rebecca.jpg\" HSPACE=\"5\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Rebecca Ann Norton, age 51, died on January 31, 2011. She was born in Lansing, on March 6, 1959, the daughter of Alvin and Linda Lee (Clary) Norton.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her mother, Linda Lee Clary, children, Marlene Nicholas, Julie Leming, Tammy ( Alex) Woody, Alvin R. (Sabrina) VanSickle, fianc\u00e9, Larry Wetzel, sister, Alvalynn (Richard) Wallace and seven grandchildren. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Norton, husband, Eric Rudder and sister, Janet Norton.<br \/>\nAs per Rebecca\u2019s wishes, there will be no services.
