\nEven though I’m a law abiding citizens and well aware that sports pools are against the law . . . I got into one anyway. I could care less about basketball, especially the pros, but I do like March Madness. That’s when I’ve seen some of the best basketball games. So, my bracket is made out and sent into the pool commissioner.
\nI have Michigan State losing their first game. Just like they did the two other times they were seeded tenth. I blame my lack of faith in the Spartans on the coach, Tom Izzo.
\nI think the team lost its heart last summer when Izzo let himself to be courted by the Cleveland Cavaliers. I think the fact that Izzo even considered it bothered the college, the team, and the fans.
\nJoe Paterno wouldn’t have done that.<\/p>\n

I’m having problems with another electronic device . . . my computer. All of a sudden I can’t open videos, slide shows, or the graph on the stat site that tells how well I’m doing.
\nI first thought it was a missing link on the Indy so I e-mailed Jean. She tried a couple of browsers and found no problem. Then it dawned on me that I should have opened my laptop and taken a look first.
\nEverything worked on the laptop.
\nI uninstall and installed the latest version of Flash Player but that didn’t help. The next choice is to reinstall Windows 7 which means I’ll probably have to reload all my software. I’m not sure I want to do that.
\nEven though it will cost a few bucks, I think I better let the experts handle this one.<\/p>\n

A few thoughts:
\nIt’s been suggested that Congress should not hold hearings on Radical Islamist unless they’re willing to hold hearings on other religions about their problems with polygamy and pedophilia.
\nAre they right?
\nThe Fifth Amendment says you can’t be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against yourself, but somehow, nowadays, your body can, i.e. blood test. Isn’t that an oxymoron?
\nThere’s a lot of talk about medical marijuana and office pools. One has become legal because it can be tax and the other can’t be tax so it’s illegal. Whether or not the government can siphon tax revenues from something is the determining factor in whether it’s legal or not.
\nIt’s also interesting to note how many laws are on the books to protect us from ourselves. Good ol’ Big Brother is looking out for us so we don’t have to.
\nOn the menu tonight, corned beef brisket, small red potatoes, cooked cabbage, and a touch of green beer (I didn’t have any Irish whiskey).
