What a waste.<br \/>\nSun worshipers with bodies of all shapes, sizes and hues, covered \u2013 or not \u2013 by equally varied scraps of cloth; wanna-be surfers, dumped repeatedly into the swirling blue water; kite-surfers gliding skyward with grace and ease \u2013 it\u2019s all part of the daily routine at Lido.<br \/>\nOne day blends into another here, broken only by the movement of sun from east to west \u2013 certain times in between to eat, walk the beach, seek shelter from the hot sun, and read, read, read all those books that there\u2019s never time to open at home.<br \/>\nThe lovely meditation garden at St. Armand\u2019s Lutheran Church provides its own sense of calm and peace.
