I’m Connor, or as my foster mom calls me, Connor O’Quigley, the Irish American Pug!
I’m a happy, loving, active fellow who somehow ended up in a scary animal shelter. A nice person took me out and I ended up in foster care.
There are lots of dogs in my foster home, and I get along well with everybody. There are a couple cats, too, but I just ignore those guys.
Although I’m a happy little fellow, I don’t see very well. I was originally diagnosed as blind, but I can see most things. Shadows and quick movement startle me, and I need eye medication twice a day.
Being a Pug, I have some other health care requirements, like daily cleaning of my facial folds (“Pug crack”), and a home with central air conditioning so I don’t get too hot and have breathing problems.
I stay in a crate when my foster parents aren’t home, and I don’t like it much at first, but eventually I quiet down (usually after a dog cookie!)
I am housebroken, and since I don’t see very well, I will need a home with a securely fenced yard so I don’t accidentally get lost when I’m out for potty or play. Little kids move around really fast, and I’d probably bark at them, so I would do better in a home with kids 10 years or older. I’m talkative, playful, and love to be near my foster parents.
If you are interested in knowing more about me, please email lisa@schnauzerama.org.

[13

post-21763","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-pets
["GET
