{"id":22415,"date":"2011-05-19T20:57:37","date_gmt":"2011-05-20T00:57:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=22415"},"modified":"2011-05-19T20:57:37","modified_gmt":"2011-05-20T00:57:37","slug":"flowers-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/flowers-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Flower Sale in time for Memorial Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11may\/flowersth.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/>Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary<!--more--><br \/>\nThe annual spring flower sale held as a fund raiser for Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary will be a few days late this year because of inclement weather, but according to chair Kim Kellogg, the timing will be ideal for Memorial Day.<br \/>\n\u201cHopefully, the weather will cooperate and be warm enough that buyers won\u2019t have to cover their plants or bring them indoors at night,\u201d she said.<br \/>\nThe sale this year will be Saturday May 21 at Southpoint Mall beginning at 8:00 a.m. and run to 2:00 p.m. or until supplies are exhausted.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11may\/flowers.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Kim Kellogg, center, chair of the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary\u2019s Spring Flower Sale, recently met with co-chairs Sharon Hunt, left, and Cindy Knight to lay plans for this year\u2019s event set for Saturday May 21. <\/em><br \/>\nAs in the past there will be many varieties to choose from, including hanging baskets, fiber baskets, Gerbera Daisy pots, geraniums, impatiens, ferns and wave petunias, to name a few. \u201cOur inventory will have something for everyone,\u201d explained Ms Kellogg, \u201cincluding plants for sun or shade and beautiful hanging baskets or planters.\u201d She may be reached at 989 292-1647 for information.<br \/>\nProceeds are designated to hospital and patient benefits.
