The annual awards were presented during the board of Trustees Meeting which was held on May 9, 2011.<br \/>\nCara Sue Havens is the winner of the Jeanne Rand Scholarship. Cara is from St. Johns, Michigan and is currently attending Lansing Community College. Cara plans to obtain her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and PCT (Patient Care Technician) certificates and then further study to become an RN. One of the main criteria for the Rand Scholarship is that the recipient must be an employee of Clinton Area Care Center. Cara has been an employee of Clinton Commons for approximately three years.<br \/>\nMarie Micheaux and Tess Suchek were named the recipients of the Harold Benson Scholarships. Marie is from Bath and attends Bath High School. This fall, Marie will attend Grand Valley State University and study to become a Registered Nurse. Tess is from St. Johns and attends St. Johns High School. This fall Tess will attend Lake Superior State University to study towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.<br \/>\n&#8220;We feel all of our scholarship recipients are outstanding and hard working young people.
