That man lives in Joplin, MO and the call came through about 11:00 a.m. the morning after the huge tornado hit there. This gives a small indication of how strongly Denny feels about the importance of supporting US veterans.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nArea veterans and their families are encouraged to come to the Depot on Sunday, May 29 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. to share their stories with everyone who is interested in this important part of our history. We rub shoulders with war veterans every day, sometimes not even knowing that they served for our continuing freedom; and almost never knowing the experiences they had while doing that.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe program will begin at 1:30 with veterans of World War II, then proceed to veterans of the Korean Conflict, the Viet Nam war and the wars in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.
