Arts Council Sunday gathering
\nWeddings, graduations, warm weather activities. What better time to consider a special gift to commemorate happy events? Especially when that gift could be a personalized clock, bearing a photo, verse or artwork recalling the enjoyable occasion.
\nAn open display offering a variety of samples of such creations will be presented by artist Richard Pearson, Sunday June 12 during the Clinton County Arts Gallery\u2019s monthly \u201cSunday Event.\u201d Mr. Pearson works with compact discs to fashion personalized clocks reflecting time in an amazing mixture of colors, designs and circumstances.
\nHis works include representations for sports, birthdays, showers, weddings and graduations, to name a few, along with family or individual special orders.
\nAs is customary, the Sunday gathering will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm featuring tempting refreshments. The June open house is sponsored by First Bank.
\nThese monthly events and the many other activities of the Arts Council are made possible through a cooperative funding base involving membership dues, local contributions and support from the partnership of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
