Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 12-8:00 pm and on Thursday, June 2, 2011 11:00 am until the time of service at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel.<br \/>\nBill was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 30, 1941, the son of Russell M. and Geneita (Georgia) Elsea. He married Mary Ritz on April 18, 1964. Bill was a retired brick layer of Local 9 and a member of the Moose and Eagles.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Elsea, sister Kathleen Beasley of Harrison, MI, son Todd (Julee) Elsea, daughter Staci (Dale) Cole, son Rory (Lona) Elsea, daughter Deanna (Josh) Finch, son Devin (Angie) Elsea, all of St. Johns; grandchildren; Jeff Stewart, Magen and Kelsea Cole, Mat, Chris, Andrew and Alyssa Elsea, Allison and Anna Finch, Travis, Alex and Grace Elsea, great grandchildren; Justin, Jordynn and Hazel; brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and Dorothy Ritz, Paul Ritz, Barb and Steve Bucsi, many nieces and nephews and beloved dog Killa. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.<br \/>\nMemorials may be made to Bois Blanc Historical Museum, Huron Drive, Pointe Aux Pins, Bois Blanc Island, MI 49775.  The family is being served by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smith Family Funeral Homes<\/a> St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, Michigan.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Larry Blauwiekel<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/blauwiekel_larry.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Larry Blauwiekel, died May 31, 2011 at the age of 91. Born, September 20, 1919, in Pewamo, Michigan. The son of Nickolas and Netta (VanderJagt) Blauwiekel. Larry married Juliann (Fedewa) on October 23, 1943, in Pewamo. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2002. Larry was the owner of The Pewamo Creamery Co. and also owned the Pewamo Food And Beverage Co. until his retirement in 1987 and also attended South Lansing Christian Church.<br \/>\nLarry is survived by his son, Nicholas (Debra) Blauwiekel of West Linn, OR, daughter, Susan (Gene) Norris of Holt, MI, grandchildren, Nicholas Huebner, Tracy (Lee) Janousek, Michelle (Chris) Thompson, Kristie (Marty) Kroell, 10 great grandchildren, and brother, Harry Blauwiekel. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers, John and Nicklas Blauwiekel.<br \/>\nA memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, with Pastor Frank Weller officiating, at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry\u2019s memory to the Salvation Army, or The American Red Cross.<br \/>\nThe family was served by The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Leon John Lennemann<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/lennemann_leo.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Leon John Lennemann, died May 27, 2011, at the age of 69. He was born on June 17, 1941, in Lansing, the son of Leo and Mary Lennemann. Leon was a retired Millwright at Motor Wheel in Lansing and he also served his country in the United States Air Force.<br \/>\nLeon is survived by his sons, Michael and Patrick Lennemann, his step-daughters, Becky, Julie and Missy and step-son, Bobby, grandchildren, Victoria, Jacob and Rylee Lennemann. He is also survived by his sisters, Delores Cornelius, Judy (Bernie) Goodwin, Jeanne (Clyde) Hanson, Marietta (Barry) Hanson and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley.<br \/>\nMemorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:30 pm, Thursday, June 9, 2011, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns, with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. Contributions will be made to charity of his family\u2019s choice. The family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Home<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Maxine Hazel Sigafoose<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/sigafoose_maxine.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>On May 29, 2011, Maxine Hazel (Stevens) Sigafoose attended a reunion with her God and her many friends and relatives she had known and loved who had gone on before her. Maxine, the only child of Ayrs and Hazel (Davis) Stevens and lived all of her life in Clinton County. She married Eugene Sigafoose and they bought a farm in Riley Township and lived there the rest of their lives and also spent nineteen enjoyable winters in Florida, Eugene preceded her in death in 1992. She received her degree from Michigan State University and taught for 27 years. She was a life member of MEA-R and NEA-R. Her many interests included gardening, flowers, cooking, music, nature study, science, writing poetry, her church work and watching her students grow in knowledge and develop characteristics pleasing to society.<br \/>\nSurvivors include her daughter, Ada Marie (Bill) Windish, a granddaughter, Angela Renee (Scott) Maddux and their two children and a grandson, Steven Eugene (Elizabeth) Scholl and their five children.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Home<\/a>, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Rev. Cayle Beagle officiating, burial at Union Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in memory of Maxine to AISAC St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital Tennessee Corp., or Youth Haven of Rives Junction, Michigan or The Starr Common Wealth School of Albion. .<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Alma Woodbury<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/woodbury_alma.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Alma Woodbury, 86, passed away May 30, 2011. Born November 16, 1924 in Fowler, the daughter of Vincent and Emma (Schafer) Bozung. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Mary\u2019s Guild Altar Society. Alma married Gerald C. Woodbury on September 6, 1947 and he survives her.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are her daughters, Ellen (Chuck) Perry of St. Johns, Janeen (William) Linak of North Carolina, Patricia (Darrell) Beck of St. Johns and Christine (Jeff) Pioszak of Williamston, her sons, Mark (Teresita) Woodbury of St. Johns and Eric (Cindy) Woodbury of North Carolina, her grandchildren, Melissa Mesh, Brandon Mesh, Rachelle Smith, Rebecca Beachler, Cassandra Herrick, Marites Woodbury, Maggie Linak, Scott Linak, Drew Beck, Timothy Beck, Hannah Woodbury, Christian Woodbury, Spencer Pioszak and Connor Pioszak. Also surviving her is her sister, Ambra Hadden of Lake, Michigan. Along with her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey, sisters, Julitta Draper and Marie Hollis, and brothers, Allen, Albert and James Bozung.<br \/>\nThe Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with The Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday with a rosary prayed at 7 pm on Wednesday.
