The public is invited to stop into the hospital&#8217;s main lobby throughout the day on August 1 to enjoy interesting historical displays, with cake, punch and live piano music from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11july\/founder.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Monday, August 1<\/strong><br \/>\nCome and enjoy cake, punch, live piano music, and a tour of our History Hall, showcasing displays featuring:<br \/>\n\u2022 the hospital\u2019s founding in 1936 by Dr. Binkert in what was then his home;<br \/>\n\u2022 the intern training program;<br \/>\n\u2022 the major addition in 1957;<br \/>\n\u2022 the community-wide testimonial held for Dr. Binkert in 1966;<br \/>\n\u2022 the tenure of Donald McKenna, administrator from 1946-1981;<br \/>\n\u2022 the transition that began in 1979 to the leadership of Bruce L.
