You may be asking yourself, &#8220;How can I do that?&#8221;<br \/>\nVery simply, by:<br \/>\n\u00b7 Taking the time to be a friend<br \/>\n\u00b7 Listening and showing genuine interest in what they are saying<br \/>\n\u00b7 Being a positive role model<br \/>\n\u00b7 Helping them to decide and evaluate their choices<br \/>\n\u00b7 Supporting and letting them know you are proud of them<br \/>\n\u00b7 By acting as a connector to community resources<br \/>\nThese are all actions that take place during a year long mentoring relationship.
