\nThe government has a stranglehold on everything that moves in this country and they can’t figure out why it quits moving eventually. They’re not going to release their grip because they thrive on power. It’s a beast that has to be fed constantly.
\nObama is fanning the flames of protest in this country and it’s going to blow up in his face. His current agenda is class warfare and it’s starting to show up in recent demonstrations on Wall Street and numerous cities. They’re emulating what’s going on in Europe and it sure as hell isn’t working for them.
\nPeople have to face the truth and move on. The promises are gone and we have to start all over again.
\nThe “Occupy Wall Street” movement was the creation of Obama’s rhetoric. He wants a revolution of sorts to save his presidency. The Sunday news programs claim these people are on the left but I don’t know how they know that because almost everybody reporting on it doesn’t know what they represent except they’re tired of the way things are.
\nIsn’t Obama one of those things? He better shut up and find out.
\nI’ve never in my adult life ever heard a president inciting these kinds of protests. It tells a lot about the man in the White House. If another president has done that in history then you need to refresh my memory.
\nObama has invited the people to “storm the castle” but he’s forgotten he lives there.
\nObama is not the uniter but the divider. That’s why he’s here.<\/p>\n

As of this writing the Tigers are in danger of losing the ALCS. I’ve loved the Tigers over the years and I’ve also hated them. I lost interest in them for a few years when I thought they fielded a minor league team in order to save money.
\nThankfully they stopped doing that.
\nAs for the Lions, what we’ve been through the last ten years was simply poor management and bad decisions by the owner. I believe the owner has finally put together a management team and a head coach that will make us fans very happy the next few years.
\nWe deserve it.<\/p>\n

\nBill Clinton was on the David Letterman show Wednesday night and I still have to admit I like him even though I never voted for him. He makes about as much sense as any politician does today. I only wish he’d given us better memories of his presidency. There are just some things about a president we don’t need to know.
\nI still stand by what I’ve said before and that is that David Letterman is the best interviewer on late night TV.<\/p>\n

A few thoughts:
\nWhy hasn’t Larry the Cable Guy landed a situation comedy show on TV?
\nIf Herman Cain gets the Republican nomination to run for president I’ll vote for him. I didn’t vote for Obama because the whole thing of him running never made sense to me.
