Carson City Hospital has shown exceptional commitment to providing their patients with high quality health care,&#8221; said John Barnas, Executive Director of the Michigan Center for Rural Health. &#8220;We are pleased to sponsor this award and recognize the dedication of hospital staff to provide the right care to the right patient each and every time.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Carson City Hospital is committed to the principles of continuous quality improvement, evidence-based medicine to improve health outcomes, and raising awareness of the requirements at all levels of the organization,&#8221; said Joan Sweet, Director of Quality. &#8220;Together our staff is demonstrating that we are providing the very best in medical care.&#8221;<br \/>\nClinical indicators for the 2011 Michigan Rural Health Quality Improvement Awards for inpatient and outpatient clinical performance were based on Carson City Hospital&#8217;s Appropriate Care Measure (ACM) performance.
