This year, as in the past, City crews will collect trees that have been placed near the curb within the public right-of-way but not in the street.<br \/>\nTo be collected, trees should not be in plastic bags and must have all ornaments and wires removed.<br \/>\nTrees will be collected beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2012 thru Friday, January 6, 2012.<br \/>\nTrees can also be taken to the Department of Public Works compost area located at 1000 North BR US 27.
