Schroeder, MD<!--more--> has been named Sparrow Health System&#8217;s new Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer.<br \/>\nIn his position, Dr. Schroeder will be responsible for supporting safety, quality, Patient satisfaction, and partnering with the medical community.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/11dec\/sparrow.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"alignright size-full\" \/>Dr. Schroeder comes to Sparrow from Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, where he served as Medical Director for the hospitalist program. His diverse career includes experience as an Emergency Room Technician and a Registered Nurse.<br \/>\n&#8220;It is a real pleasure to be part of the Sparrow leadership team; it&#8217;s an aggressive and forward-thinking leadership team,&#8221; said Dr. Schroeder. &#8220;This is a very exciting time to be in healthcare and at Sparrow, given the changing landscape of our field.<br \/>\n&#8220;However, I am convinced that, given the ownership and commitment that I&#8217;ve witnessed among the Sparrow Physicians, Nurses and other Caregivers, we will surpass each and every one of the challenges and expectations before us.&#8221;<br \/>\nDr. Schroeder received his medical degree from the University of Texas and his master&#8217;s in business administration from the University of Michigan. He has held numerous leadership and educational roles while at Covenant and at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.<br \/>\n&#8220;We are honored to have Dr. Schroeder join the Sparrow family,&#8221; said Dennis A.
