I think I have one (besides me) in my den. How do I know? Strange things have been going on with my VCR and my computer. I haven’t solved the VCR problem yet and the computer went into the shop to get infected files (180) fixed.
The time started changing on my VCR clock so now when I set-up the timer I have to make sure the clock’s on the right time and the right day. Then I had a couple of nights when I set-up for the Tonight Show on channel 10 and in the morning I’d find the VCR taped channel 62. It’s nearly impossible to mistake a 10 for a 62 when programming a VCR.
Other times I’d find that my VCR didn’t record anything because the date was two days off and the time off by twelve hours.
Some days test my patience.
Then my computer started in on me. I started getting pop-up windows saying I had infected files. When I closed them they’d open right back up. Along with the pop-ups I got a screen that said if I paid for it I could get a program to clean them up. It was almost as if they were working in tandem from the same source.
Isn’t that called extortion?
I looked on Google and was told it was a virus and found what was supposed to be a solution. I downloaded the program and ran it and was told I had 160 threats to my computer. I clicked on the fix icon and the pop-ups went away – for two days. I ran it again and the same thing happened. I gave up and took my computer to the shop.
One thing I noticed was a lot of activity on my computer at night. I don’t believe Microsoft has updates on a nightly basis. That may not be exactly what’s going on but I’m no genius so I reacted my way. Just to be on the safe side I started shutting my computer down at night. It’s a pain because I have to open everything back up in the morning but maybe it’ll pay off. I hope that’s the right approach.

* * *

I’ve only watched one presidential debate. This is what I make of it so far. Santorum is smart enough but does he have the ability to take charge of the debates and why did he lose his last election as senator? Romney needs to take a trip down the yellow brick road and visit the Wizard of Oz to get a personality. Gingrich could argue the pants off a Nun and may have the best chance against Oblama, which I like, but he has baggage he has to explain. And who doesn’t like Ron Paul except he’s too old to be electable. He’s everybody’s favorite grandpa.
I base this opinion on the fact that I’m a conservative and for me one of these guys has to succeed. If they don’t then you and I better brace ourselves.
If I could take the best attributes from these four guys and combine them into one great candidate I would but I’ll have to make a choice of just one of them.
I like the way the Liberal news media plays their game of trying to influence Republican voters into selecting a candidate that Oblama has an excellent chance of beating. So what do they do, they put out the word that Romney is the candidate the White House fears the most. I don’t believe that for one minute. Romney doesn’t come off as somebody anybody fears. I think Oblama would hate to come up against Gingrich who would probably beat Oblama in a (no teleprompter) debate.
Until the next time . . .

[9

post-27071","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news
["GET
