Program is for children of all ages but limited to 50. Registration is required and begins on February 28th. There will also be an Usborne Book Fair from 3-8 p.m. with a large selection of wonderful children&#8217;s books for sale.<br \/>\n<strong>All Aboard the Toddler Train! <\/strong><br \/>\nChildren ages 2-3 years old with an adult are welcome to join us for a ride through storyland. We will enjoy fun with music, creative movement, crafts and of course age appropriate books. You may choose between 10 to 10:30 or 11 to 11:30 on Wednesday mornings, March 28th-May 2nd OR 6:30-7 on Thursday evenings, March 29th to May 3rd. Join us in traveling through stories by train and other forms of transportation. Registration is required and begins Wednesday, February 29th.<br \/>\n<strong>Project KidSight<\/strong><br \/>\nApproximately one out of every twenty children between the ages of 1 and 5 has an eye problem that can permanently affect their vision if untreated. Many children in this age group have not had their vision checked. Since children usually don&#8217;t know that they see differently, early identification of an eye problem is very important.<br \/>\nProject KidSight is a pro-active screening program designed to provide early identification of vision problems in children ages 1 to 5. The St. Johns Lions and Lioness Club will be doing free vision screenings at the Library on Friday Feb. 24th from 9:30-11:00 am and on Monday Feb. 27th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Note: The Lions do screenings and referrals not examinations.<br \/>\n<strong>Chapter Chatter &#8220;Climbing the Family Tree&#8221; <\/strong><br \/>\nThis program is for children ages 6 to 8 years old. Over the course of 4 weeks we will read a chapter book to the children and help them craft their very own family tree with pictures. Our local history room along with computer resources will help us puzzle out the past. There will be yummy treats and a game or two for fun. The programs are on Thursday evenings, 7-7:45, March 1st &#8211; March 22nd. Registration is required.<br \/>\n<strong>Make Reading &#8220;Mo&#8221; Fun!<\/strong><br \/>\nMarch is Reading Month is fast approaching and we have a few spots left for the Breakfast, Lunch and Evenings Programs. We can&#8217;t wait to share the humor of Mo Willems with the kids! There will be games, crafts, music and more at each program. So register now and enjoy the fun of Pigeon, Cat the Cat, Knuffle Bunny, Leonardo, Amanda and Her Alligator and Elephant &#038; Piggie!
