{"id":27741,"date":"2012-03-08T21:48:24","date_gmt":"2012-03-09T01:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=27741"},"modified":"2012-03-08T21:48:24","modified_gmt":"2012-03-09T01:48:24","slug":"ball-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/ball-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Softball League sign-up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>City of St. Johns <!--more--><br \/>\nRegistration packets for the 2012 City of St. Johns Women&#8217;s, Men&#8217;s, and Co-ed Church softball leagues are available and can be picked up between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday at the City Offices.<br \/>\nReturning teams from the 2011 summer and fall leagues can register on March 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2012. New teams can register on March 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2012. Leagues are limited to the first 10 teams that register and pay the $250 team fee. The roster, waiver form, along with resident\/non-resident and capital improvement fees are due no later than Wednesday, April 25, 2012.<br \/>\nRoster and wavier forms received after April 27th may be dropped from the league. Cost for the leagues are $250 for women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s league ten game schedule plus $12.00 for each City of St. Johns Resident, $22.00 for each non-City of St. Johns resident and $5.00 capital improvement fee per player.<br \/>\nThe season will begin the week of May 8, 2012 with men playing on Wednesday nights and women on Thursday nights. Men&#8217;s Tuesday Night Double Header League plays 20 games and costs $500 per team plus the player and capital improvement fees.<br \/>\nChurch league sign-up deadline is April 27, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with rosters and waivers due May 25, 2012. The co-ed church league is a six-week season, played on Sunday nights, starting June 3, 2012. Game times will be 4:00, 5:10, 6:20 and 7:30 depending on the number of teams that sign up.<br \/>\nThe cost for the league is $150.00 per team plus $6.00 for each City of St. Johns resident, $11.00 for each Non-City of St. Johns Resident and $5.00 capital improvement fee per player. Umpires will be used this year.<br \/>\n<strong>New this year will be the addition of a regular (non-church) Co-Ed Softball League.<\/strong> Co-Ed league sign-up deadline is April 27, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with rosters and waivers due May 25, 2012.
