The April gathering adds to that expression.<br \/>\nBarbara Buck will be the featured artist Sunday April 15. Barbara\u2019s specialty is converting an otherwise ordinary piece of wood into an attractive and meaningful art piece.<br \/>\nWhile she works on a current effort during the 1-3 p.m. event, she will have many of her completed items on display throughout the gallery.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have Barbara featured this month,\u201d explained director Mike Muehlenbeck, \u201cand encourage everyone to spend some time with us observing Barb\u2019s special skill in bringing beauty to an ordinary block of wood.\u201d<br \/>\nSponsor of the April Sunday Event is Al\u2019s Aerial Spraying. Refreshments will be served.<br \/>\nThe Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns and information regarding these monthly events \u2013 and other Council related activities \u2013 can be obtained by calling 989 224-2329.<br \/>\nActivities of the Arts Council are made possible through generous sponsorships, such as Al\u2019s Aerial Service, and membership dues and donations.
