{"id":28426,"date":"2012-04-19T20:56:59","date_gmt":"2012-04-20T00:56:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=28426"},"modified":"2012-04-19T20:56:59","modified_gmt":"2012-04-20T00:56:59","slug":"museum-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/museum-26\/","title":{"rendered":"Calling all Girl Scouts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>100th Anniversary at the PGS Museum<!--more--><br \/>\nIn the One Room School exhibit area at the Museum is a small display showcasing the rich history of Girl Scouting&#8217;s first 100 years.<br \/>\nThe Girl Scouts were founded in the United States by Juliette Gordon Lowe in 1912 after she met Robert Baden-Powell, founder of Scouting, in 1911.<br \/>\nGirl Scouts USA aims to empower girls and teach values such as honesty, fairness, courage, compassion, character, sisterhood, confidence, and citizenship through activities for which the girls earn badges.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re looking for any and all Girl Scouts in Clinton County. Whether you were a Brownie for a year or have been a leader for 30 years, we want to hear from you.<br \/>\nPlease contact the Museum if you are or have been a Girl Scout.
