Rewerts, James T. Spade, Sr., Carlyle E. \u201cBud\u201d Barnes, Ruth Woodruff, Earl W. King, Doris Jean Wieber<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Ronald O. Rewerts<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/rewerts_ronald.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Ronald O. Rewerts, 76, passed away April 30, 2012. Born September 11, 1935, in Wyoming, Illinois, he was the son of Fred and Margaret (Dement) Rewerts. Ronald married Delores Reynolds on January 14, 1964 in Angola, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2003.<br \/>\nRonald is survived by his son, Kevin (Rita Younger) Rewerts of St. Johns, daughter, Rhonda (Ken Riley) Rewerts of St. Johns, daughter in law, Cheryl Rewerts of Perrinton, grandchildren, George Glidden, Scott (Brittney) Glidden, Chris Glidden, Cheryl (Allen) VanAmburg, Lindsey Chapman, Nick Rewerts, Kaleb Riley, 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Tom Rewerts, one sister, Sandie (Paul) Thompson, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Delores, five brothers and one sister.<br \/>\nAs per family wishes there will be a memorial service at a later date. The family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>James T. Spade, Sr.<\/strong><br \/>\nJames T. Spade, Sr. passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2012, at the age of 77. Born September 29, 1934, in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of George and Kadeilia (Demond) Spade. James married Clara Ross on December 12, 1958, in Lansing. Clara preceded him in death on October 6, 2006.<br \/>\nJames is survived by his children, Georgia (Gary) Sanders of Middleton, George Thomas (Kathy) Spade, II. of St. Johns, Gail Stallkamp of Mt. Pleasant, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one brother, David Spade of Lansing as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Clara, one son, James Spade, Jr., and two sisters, Kadeilia Whipple and Judy Bywater.<br \/>\nA memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Friday, May 4, 2012 at Hope Bible Baptist Church in Maple Rapids with Pastor Steven Lang officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Bible Baptist Church.<br \/>\nThe family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Carlyle E. &#8220;Bud&#8221; Barnes<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/barnes_carlton.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Carlyle E. &#8220;Bud&#8221; Barnes, age 78, of St. Johns, Michigan died Monday April 30, 2012 at his home.<br \/>\nA Meal and Celebration of Bud&#8217;s Life will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Knights of Columbus Hall 1108 N. US-27, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, MI.<br \/>\nBud was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 27, 1933, the son of Wilbur Eugene and Karlyn Marcile (Berry) Barnes. Bud married Arlene L. Rowland on October 20, 1951. Bud was a painter for General Motors retiring on January 1, 1990 after nearly 30 years of service. He was inducted into the High School Football Hall of Fame 2006. Bud loved racing. He even went racing on his 5th wedding anniversary at Stanton, MI and won 1st place. He also took the dragster to England and set records there.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arlene Barnes of St. Johns, MI, son Buddy and Stella Barnes of Lansing, MI, daughter Brenda and James Cressman of St. Johns, MI, grandchildren; Shannon Cressman of St. Johns, MI, Fawn and Sean McCarty of St. Johns, MI, Ben Goodman of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Morgan Goodman and Mike Paige of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Brandi Gardner and Greg Branden of Georgia, great grandchildren; Samantha Goodman, Claire and Owen McCarty, Logan and Ethan Gardner, Jourdan, Alexis, Jack and Branson Paige, great great granddaughter Ava Paige, brother Carl and Mary Barnes of Owosso, MI, and several nieces and nephews. Born July 4, 1945 in Muir, MI, she was the daughter of Lester and Dorothy (Guild) Harrington. Ruth retired from Ovid-Elsie High School where she was a cafeteria cook. She was a member of the First Church of God in Owosso as well as a member of the Ovid Fire Department Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Ovid-Elsie Band Boosters, and led a campaign for Cystic Fibrosis. Ruth married Eugene Woodruff on May 8, 1965, in Ovid, MI and he survives her.<br \/>\nRuth is also survived by her daughters, Stacy Woodruff, Karen (Joe Ranger) Crambell, Kathy (Joe Maurice) Woodruff, Rachel (Randy Perrien) Sutliff, eight grandchildren, one sister, Patricia Harrington, as well as two brothers, Raymond (Sandi) Harrington and Lester (Beth) Harrington. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Wayne Woodruff.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2012, at the Houghton Chapel of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneral.com\/ \"target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a> in Ovid, with Pastor Ed Schweikert officiating. King<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/king_earl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/king_earl.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"king_earl\" width=\"91\" height=\"129\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28616\" \/><\/a>Earl W. King, 88 of Traverse City, MI formerly of St. Johns died on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Traverse City, MI.  Earl was born on Feb. 22, 1924 in Lansing, MI the son of Theodore and Myrtle (Wheeler) King.  He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 88th Infantry Division seeing action in Italy.  He received Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. After discharge from service he married Doris M. Funnell on Jan. 13, 1046 in Lansing.  She preceded him in death on April 5, 2009.<br \/>\nEarl worked as manager for Central Michigan Lumber in St. Johns, and later was co-owner of King and Frost Lumber Co. in St. Johns. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting and horseshoes.  Earl was a former Scout Master for the Boy Scouts.<br \/>\nSurvivors include his daughter, Dawn (Charles) Frost of Murfreesboro, TN, sons Wayne King of Traverse City, MI. and Douglas (Christine) King of Buckley, MI; grandchildren, Greg Frost of Pinehurst NC., Angie (Brian) Hostetler of Murfreesboro, TN, Ryan King of Petoskey, MI., Christopher (Stacy) King of Vicksburg, MI., Cheryl, (Chad) Miller of Holt, MI., Stephen King of Interlochen, MI., and Grace King of Buckley, MI; great grandchildren Madison Hostetler, Drew Hostetler, Carter King, Maxon King, Ella Kay Miller and Sophia Miller and sister, Colleen (George) Secord of Lansing. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Charlotte Cook and Josephine Pratt and brother Rex King.<br \/>\nThe family will receive friends and relatives at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a> on Friday, April 27, 2012, 9 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.  Pastor Kathy Leydorf Keck will officiate.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing, MI.  Memorials donations may be made to the charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Doris Jean Wieber<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/wieber_doris.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Doris Jean (Page) Wieber, age 82, passed away March 27, 2012 in DeWitt, Michigan.  She was born September 17, 1929 in Elsie, Michigan the daughter of Avelyn and Mary (Mendenhall) Page.  She married Herbert Wieber on December 1, 1962 in St. Johns and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2004. Doris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns.  Doris loved flowers and adored animals.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her son, Charles ( Lisa) Wieber of St. Johns; brothers, Charles (Alma) King of Lansing, Ivan (Geneva) Page of Grand Ledge, Ray (Sonia) Page of Mayfield, KY and Elden (Mary) Page of AZ.  Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband.<br \/>\nMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating.
