Townsend, no later than 6:45 am to ensure chip registration.<br \/>\nThe 5K run\/walk begins at 8:15am. Kids Races start at 9am with the 300 meter age 5 and younger class followed by the 1 Mile age 5 and older class.<br \/>\nAdult runs\/walks are ChampionChip\u00aeTimed. Competitive age divisions cover budding athletes younger than 25 years as well as veterans of more than 65 years.<br \/>\nMint City Races are part of the Playmakers&#8217; summer series of races.<br \/>\nEntry fee is $25, if registered by July 23; $30 by August 3 (noon); and $35 race day. This fee is non-refundable.<br \/>\nProceeds from the Mint City Races benefit cross-country teams at St. Johns High School, St. Johns Middle School and DeWitt High School as well as the Special Olympics program.
