Lots of family-friendly activities are planned once again this year like the Decorated Pumpkin Contest, Pumpkin Trot, children&#8217;s games and hayrides through the pumpkin patch.<br \/>\nThe fun actually begins Thursday, October 4, in advance of weekend activities when all those decorated pumpkins are set for check-in at Andy T&#8217;s from 4 to 9 p.m. The pumpkins will be on display all day Friday, October 5.<br \/>\nPumpkin Fest Kids Day on Saturday, October 6, features the noon arrival of a helicopter and lots of kid-friendly activities like pumpkin carnival games, face painting, duck races and &#8220;bowling pumpkins.&#8221; Andy T&#8217;s six-acre corn maze is just the right size for kids and families. There&#8217;s also a blow-up maze for young Pumpkin Fest guests, and hayrides are ongoing throughout the afternoon.<br \/>\nThe St. Johns Lions Club food wagon will be on site selling tasty food items.
